Since your fingerprint is stored only on the QuardCard itself and NOT on any server system or database, it fully complies with regulations about privacy and data protection. Your fingerprint is not used directly as authentication neither, but is instead converted to dynamic one-time-passwords. In this way your fingerprint is completely protected.
